We are trained to help our customer's select tile and grout that can help reduce maintenance.  We offer consultation for our customers which help you select the tile that will fit your life, your budget and your design.

Some of the most common issues with poor installation are not sealing or not properly sealing the surface, significant lippage (greater than 1/8" or the thickness of a quarter or greater), not cleaning all grout haze, not properly prepping the surface for tile and grout, not using an even amount of thinset or mortar behind the tiles (will cause the tile to crack when pressure is applied), using the wrong grout for that tile, not making proper cuts, which can all create an expensive restoration project for the customer.  

It is crucial that you select an installer who truly knows what they are doing, have experience and have talent.  Stone Buff has encountered a variety of 'hiccups' such as un-level sub flooring, uneven walls, etc.  With our level of experience, Stone Buff has been able to resolve these issues leaving our customer's with a beautiful new surface.
